Finally, the long-awaited Google presentation tool has arrived.

Let's quickly stand out some pros and cons relatively to the classic powerpoint we're all familiar with;
Pros:
- It's collaborative (several persons can edit the presentation at the same time);
- It's got a native versioning system;
- The public presentations have a chat panel, which is cool, if you ask me;
- It's easily shareable (via email or via invitation);
- Got nice looking templates (better than Zoho's).

Cons:
- Limited to imports of .ppt files to only 10 MB (mine usually take more space). I tried to import one 6MB ppt but I got a systematic error from Google;
- Visualization is web-based only. No pdf/ppt exportations are supported.
- Shapes aren't available (Zoho show has them);
- Inserting images allow only locally based files. (Zoho show allows to insert images by file, url, or flickr account);
- No embedding of html snippets (which allows inserting widgets, YouTube movies, flickr slideshows). (Zoho allows html embedding).
So, in conclusion of this quick unexhaustive review, google docs were revamped and look better than never. This new feature (slides) is a major asset of Google's web-based office suite. Nevertheless, Zoho's slides tool, Zoho show, has more features that make it, so far, the best web-based slides creator.
